Pizza Dough (With Flax Flour) Half Recipe

Enhance your Favourite Pizza with Omega 3s by adding Flax Flour.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup room temp water
  • ¼ tsp yeast
  • 1/16 tsp sugar
  • 1.5 Tbs Olive Oil
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup flax flour
  • 1.5 Tbsp salt
  • 2 cups water

Directions

  • Add yeast and sugar to room temperature water. Let sit 8-10 minutes and then stir
  • ADD 1.5 Tbsp oil
  • Mix flour and salt together.
  • Add the yeast mixture and the water into the flour in a large mixer with bread dough attachment.
  • Mix for 10 minutes until soft and sticky.
  • Cover with plastic and let it sit 30 minutes – 1 hour.
  • Divide into balls (you may have to roll in extra flour) 12.5 oz each
  • Let sit for 24 – 48 hours in proofing trays in the fridge.
  • Remove from the fridge 2-3 hours before you start making pizzas.
