CanMar offers world-class flaxseed, hemp seed, and other superfoods. Our validated process ensures that you’re getting the best possible product. Based in Regina, Saskatchewan, we clean, roast, mill, package, and ship our products to consumers and wholesalers around the globe.

Through research and development, product experiments, and trials, CanMar has developed and owns a Canadian patent on a process which evenly roasts flaxseed and hemp seeds to a consistent taste and identical colour. While many consumers initially consume flaxseed and hemp seed for its nutritional value, they choose our roasted seeds for their quality, taste, and aroma!

OUR STORY

CanMar Foods Ltd. in Regina, SK has been in the business since 2003. Our hemp and flax products are produced in our state-of-the-art food grade facility, where we clean, roast, mill, package, and ship across the world.

In 2017, CanMar Foods was sold and integrated with CanMar Farms. We are now a fully-unified field-to-spoon operation with 32,000 acres of farmland in the Indian Head and Colfax areas of Saskatchewan, Canada.

In 2022, we expanded our portfolio to offer more products grown on our farm and in the local area. These include rolled oats, groats, French green lentils, black beluga lentils, and red lentils.

We are proud to be from the beautiful province of Saskatchewan, where 85% of Canada’s flax is grown, and where the best growers are located. And we mean the best. Our dedicated team is passionate about helping consumers understand the health benefits of flax, and how to easily incorporate flaxseed, hemp seed, and superfoods into everyday meals.
