Colourful and nutritious - boost your breakfast!
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup milled golden roasted flaxseed
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp canola oil or butter
- 1/2 cup blueberries ( fresh or frozen)
- Sift together all dry ingredients.
- Combine egg, milk and oil.
- Add dry ingredients stirring until just moistened.
- Add blueberries.
- Bake on hot griddle.
- Makes 8 pancakes.
