Crunchy Hemp Biscuits
12 biscuits
INGREDIENTS
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp butter or margarine, melted
4 tbsp milled roasted hemp seeds
2 tbsp whole roasted hemp seeds
2 tbsp cranberries, raisins or grated cheese (optional)
1 cup milk or non dairy milk
DIRECTIONS
Combine flour, baking powder, salt, hemp seeds.
Add melted butter/margarine and mix with two forks to get a crumbly mixture
Add cranberries, raisins or grated cheese, if desired
Gradually add milk and mix just until moistened.
With a table spoon drop 12 heaps on a parchment lined cookie sheet
Bake at 400 F for 8-10 minutes
