Roasted Flax-acado Tzatziki

Greek inspired dip with roasted flax seed that will earn the cook many compliments.

Serves 6. Makes 2 cups.

Roasted Flax

INGREDIENTS

1 medium avocado, peeled, pitted and cubed
2 (8 oz.) low-fat plain yogurt (or non-dairy yogurt)
1/2 tsp (2 ml) lemon juice
1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt
3 fresh garlic cloves
1 large cucumber, peeled and grated
1/4 cup (50 ml / 60g) CanMar Golden Roasted Flax (whole or milled)

DIRECTIONS

Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth.
Serve as a condiment with sandwiches, fresh bread, BBQ'd meat or assorted vegetables.
