Greek inspired dip with roasted flax seed that will earn the cook many compliments.
Serves 6. Makes 2 cups.
Prep Time: 7 minutes
- 1 medium avocado, peeled, pitted and cubed
- 2 (8 oz.) low-fat plain yogurt (or non-dairy yogurt)
- 1/2 tsp (2 ml) lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp (2 ml) salt
- 3 fresh garlic cloves
- 1 large cucumber, peeled and grated
- 1/4 cup (50 ml / 60g) CanMar Golden Roasted Flax (whole or milled)
- Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth.
- Serve as a condiment with sandwiches, fresh bread, BBQ'd meat or assorted vegetables.
